Biography 
Yoki Songmaker
Yoki Songmaker is an aspiring songwriter, music producer whos desire to learn more about the music business lead her into researching to find grant monies to do her CD project.
She would network with other artists and realized that there was a great need for information, resources and contacts.
She started in 1999 to host small gatherings to share information with others in her field such as singers, songwriters, poets and musician.
By 2001 Yoki had become some what of an authority on the music business. She then had hundreds of other artist seeking her out for her large collection of information.
Then by 2002 a friend told Yoki she should start a non-profit organization for the arts. This sent Yoki to researching again How to start a non-profit.
She created The Songmakers Center for the Arts, Inc,nfp.
Yoki collected so much information that again she shared what she had found with others and started hosting seminars and workshops to help others learn and understand how to become more effective non-profits.
She called on other business professional to help her who were knowledgeable in the areas of board training and development, strategic planning, legal, accounting, fundraising, grant writing and research.
By 2004 Yoki had acquired so much grant information that she was inspired to write a grant book. Titled Yokis Grant Book Yes I Need Some Money.
She also does consultations to help other non-profits and share the information, resources, and contact, that God has blessed her with.
Yoki continues to help artists and parents of young artists to learn how to prepare themselves and how to protect themselves entering into the music business.
Yoki is an educator and motivational speaker, she's a blessing to everyone she comes in contact with.
